Limiting the Spread of Illness on Our Campuses
Campus Safety and Security (CSS) would like to reiterate that Aims continues to prioritize the health and safety of all our students and employees. We understand that the recent uptick in COVID-19 cases, which is consistent with many other respiratory illnesses in terms of seasonal fluctuations, may cause concerns. As a Community of Care, we ask you to help limit the spread of illness on our campuses by observing the following:
Stay Home if You are Sick
What is the procedure when ill?
· Employees: If you are sick, please notify your supervisor and refer to Aims Community College Leave of Absence Procedure 529-01.
· Students: If you are sick, please notify your instructors and refer to each class syllabus for information concerning absence.
Use Wellness Stations
Community of Care Wellness Stations have been placed across the College at each campus. Each station contains the following:
· Face coverings - Aims continues to encourage all to use face coverings as desired.
· Hand sanitizer - Continue to wash hands regularly or use sanitizer.
· Disposable thermometers - These permit students and employees to check temperature as needed.
· Informational brochures - This includes CDC information and local testing locations.
CSS continues to closely monitor federal and local health mandates. We are dedicated to ensuring our College’s safety and ensuring Aims Community College remains a Community of Care. Thank you for doing your part to keep our Aims community healthy!
