Aims College Safety Amid Global Conflict

Dear Aims Community, Many of you are already aware of the situation in the Middle East and ongoing concerns about safety in our own communities as it relates to what is happening. Aims Campus Safety and Security is staying in close contact with local law enforcement authorities to help ensure the safety of everyone at Aims. At this time, we are not aware of any related threats to those in our community. If any threats do arise, we will notify you via the college’s Rave emergency alert system. We realize that this situation is troubling for many, and want to remind you that you can reach out for support. If you need help processing recent events, know you are not alone. Employees can access free counseling services through Talkspace or get free counseling sessions through the Employee Assistance Program. Students can access free counseling through Counseling Services by calling 970-339-6255 or emailing counseling@aims.edu. The Center for Diversity and Inclusion offers various programming and events to support student needs.
