All Aims campuses will return to normal operations on Thursday, 2/13. Please read the following information on cold weather safety.

Winter Weather Driving Precautionary/Preparedness Actions:

Employees and students are urged to monitor road conditions. Current updates for Colorado roadways can be obtained by calling 511 or visiting cotrip.org.
Campus Safety and Security advises extra caution when traveling to and from campus. For additional tips on winter driving preparedness, visit codot.gov/travel/winter-driving/winter-preparedness.

Protect Yourself from Cold Stress:

• Wear several layers of loose clothing.
• Avoid tight or restrictive clothing.
• Wear a hat.
• Wear insulated, waterproof boots.
• Protect your ears, face, and hands.
• Limit the amount of time spent in cold, wet environments.
• Move into warm, dry locations during breaks.
• Drink warm liquids.
• Carry extra socks, gloves, hats, jackets, blankets, and a change of clothes.
• Include chemical hot packs in your first aid kit.
• Do not touch cold metal surfaces with your bare skin.
